Good Morning Jaguars!
Today is Friday, May 22, 2020. I have some special things for you on this Fun Friday!
Have a great day!
Love, Ms. McDevitt
Daily Schedule 8:30 | Go to the Morning Meeting! (Click the link to attend. Then, click “Join” and “Allow Meet to use camera and microphone.”)
Read the Morning Message (above) | 8:40 | Reading Minilesson A special guest made a video for you today! Enjoy the video and the book!
If you enjoyed doing Starfall yesterday, you could do some work on it today, too. If you choose the Starfall option, start at level 6 (or on the level you stopped at yesterday). You should not need to register or pay to play. Look at the picture below so you don’t start with something too easy or too hard. Here is the link: Starfall phonics review. | 8:45 | Read to Self You should read from your book bag for 15 minutes. More is better, if you want to do more! Give yourself two checks if you earned them!.
Video how-to |
9:00 - 9:45 | Choose your own adventure! You can do one choice the whole time or more. Depending on what works for your family, you should work for somewhere between 15 and 45 minutes. The choices are below (and you can always do extra Read to Self). If you chose to do Starfall, then you can do less of this today. | Sight Words
Video how-to | Read to Someone Else
| RAZ Kids | Handwriting book
| 9:45 | Snack Go outside for an exercise break!
When you finish, you can do a yoga activity if you want to. |
12:15 | Math For Fun Friday, you get to choose what math to work on!
If you have anything you want to catch up on, now is a good time. Otherwise, you could play cards, a board game, a math game, an online math game, or even blocks or legos if you have those at home. If your family wants some extra family time and it makes sense to do that instead of math, that is just fine, too. | Optional | Choice Time! If you want Choice Time on the computer, go to the Wibki.
