All About Me

I live here in Johnson, with my husband George, 20-year-old daughter Katie, a sophomore at Castleton University, and our 9-year-old golden retriever, Roxy. I've been teaching at JES since 1993, working as a 5/6 homeroom teacher until the fall of 1998 when I became the Gifted/Talented teacher. I returned as an Explorer homeroom teacher in the fall of 2012. I was born in NYC and lived there until moving to VT in 1980. I love VT, but miss the ocean greatly and make a point of vacationing with family on Long Island as often as possible!
My two greatest interests are theater and cooking. I enjoy directing the Lamoille County Players Children's Theater Workshop in the summer. I have also enjoyed acting with Lamoille County Players in several shows. I am quite at home in the kitchen, and had I not become a teacher, I probably would have gone to culinary school. Welcome!
